The Words written seem to be written in blood which already makes the poster look sinister and foreshadows violence in the film.
The phrase is also used throughout the movie and is very chilling to the audience
The smile is very bitter-sweet, usually a smile promoting love and happiness but as its drawn in blood in generates hate and death. This makes you feel that the antagonist is shown to be very twisted.
The misty glass makes the poster character look very cryptic. This makes you view the movie to having mysteries and hidden truths
The almost heavenly halo, like a bright light behind character makes you think that he bringing death to innocent civilians.
The fact that there is only one character in the poster represents how extraordinary and different this person is and how he doesn't fit into society.
